What is the proper printing temperature for Nylon?

Posted by Dan Mitchel on

Nylon should be printed at slow speed in a temperature maintained environment. i.e. cooling fan set to minimal or off. Below are the suggested printer settings.

Printing Temperature: 250C +/- accordingly

Heated Bed: 80C +/- accordingly

Printing speed: 30-50mm/s (slow)

Cooling fan: off

Please store unused Nylon filament in bag with dessicant to avoid moisture. Oven dry at 160F for 6-8 hours may be needed if the filament has been opened for a quite a while.
